Hello dear, my name is Yu Liu, a graphic designer and illustrator originally from China, currently living in San Francisco.

When it comes to design, I am most interested in work with card categories, editorials and packaging. My design philosophy is to use the simplest and cleanest design to achieve effective communication with my audience.

Creating illustrations for children is one of my greatest passions. I draw illustrations and do designs for children’s picture books, fiction writing, magazines, book covers, art licensing, and products. When it comes to drawing media, I’m adept in digital painting (Photoshop and Illustrator).

Personally, I enjoy creating oil painting, collage art and photography.
